Business Development Manager- Building & Construction

TPC Packaging Solutions is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth within the Building & Construction market. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities for packaging, tape, protective materials, and related solutions used by manufacturers, distributors, building product suppliers, and construction-related businesses.
The ideal candidate is a hunter with experience selling industrial products, packaging solutions, adhesives, tape products, or construction-related materials.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic business development plan focused on the Building & Construction sector.
Identify and secure new customers through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold outreach, industry associations, and trade events.
Generate and maintain a healthy sales pipeline within CRM.
Present value-based solutions focused on reducing total packaging costs, improving productivity, and enhancing product protection.
Serve as the liaison between customers and internal stakeholders including, Procurement, Operations, and Quality
Develop relationships with purchasing managers, operations leaders, supply chain professionals, and business owners
Stay current on industry trends, construction market conditions, and competitive offerings.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of business development or outside sales experience.
Proven success selling packaging, industrial products, tape, adhesives, building products, or related solutions.
Experience prospecting and developing new business opportunities from the ground up.
Strong consultative and solution-selling skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
